Posting rules
These rules help keep Zoro clean, fair and useful for everyone. Every ad is reviewed by our moderators before it goes live, and ads that break these rules are rejected or removed.
Do
- Post one item, property, vehicle, job or service per ad.
- Use real photos of the actual item you are offering. Do not use stock images or photos taken from other ads or websites.
- Write a clear title and an honest description, including any faults or damage.
- Set the real price. Do not use fake prices such as 1 AED to attract attention.
- Choose the correct category and fill in the category details accurately, for example bedrooms for property, or year and kilometres for cars.
- Set the correct area and emirate. The map pin is optional.
- For property ads, enter a valid permit number in the permit field wherever local rules require one.
- Mark your ad as sold, or delete it, once the item is no longer available.
Don't
- Post the same ad more than once, or repost it with small changes. Renew your existing ad instead.
- Put phone numbers, links or contact details in photos, titles or descriptions. Use chat, or choose to show your number.
- Post ads for items you do not have or are not allowed to sell.
- Copy other people's photos or text.
- Post another person's personal data or ID documents.
Prohibited items
- Anything illegal or banned under UAE law
- Weapons, ammunition and explosives
- Drugs and controlled substances
- Counterfeit, replica or stolen goods
- Adult or sexual content and services
- Hateful, abusive or offensive content
- Scams, pyramid schemes, and requests for advance payment
The full list is in our Terms of use.
What happens if you break the rules
Depending on how serious the problem is, we may reject or remove the ad, limit your account, or suspend or permanently remove your account. Serious cases, such as fraud or illegal items, may be reported to the authorities.
If you think we made a mistake, email us at hello@zoro.ae. If you see an ad that breaks these rules, please report it.
